This series of photographs was taken in Bristol, during the liminal space between Christmas and New Year. Snow had fallen overnight, the ground matched the colour of the sky and it was unclear which way was up. Only the trees knew, roots in conversation, branches reaching for each other, twisting and connecting in the vast unknown.
